Are Tool Orchard tools free?
Yes. The public calculators, converters, solvers and technical utilities can be used without payment or registration. The site may be supported by clearly identified advertising.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Tool Orchard does not currently offer accounts, profiles or a saved personal dashboard. Open a tool, use it and leave when finished.
Are my entries uploaded or saved?
Most tools run in your browser. Server-assisted word tools send the letters or clues required to find matching words, but they are not intended for personal information. Hosting and advertising providers may process ordinary technical data as explained in the Privacy and Cookie policies.
Can I rely on a result for an important decision?
Use results as practical estimates and verify anything important. Financial products, taxes, laws, electrical safety, RF performance, component tolerances and manufacturer sizing can require specialist data or professional advice.
Why can Tool Orchard differ from another calculator?
Different tools may use different units, rounding rules, reference impedances, compounding schedules, dictionaries or simplifying assumptions. Check the explanation beneath each tool and make sure all inputs use the intended units.
Do the electronics and RF tools model real components perfectly?
No. Several tools use ideal or simplified models. Real inductors, capacitors, transmission lines, probes and circuit boards have loss and parasitic effects. Treat simulation as a design aid and verify a physical design with suitable models and calibrated instruments.
Why does the currency or unit default sometimes look wrong?
The browser’s language and regional settings are used as a convenient starting point. VPNs, device settings and browser preferences can differ from your physical location. You can change the available currency or unit selection manually.
Are the Wordle and Scrabble tools affiliated with those games?
No. Tool Orchard is independent. Third-party names are used descriptively so visitors can understand the purpose of a tool.
Can I suggest a correction or new tool?
Yes. Email hello@toolorchard.com with the page, inputs, expected result and any useful reference. Ideas for genuinely useful additions are welcome.
Which browsers and devices are supported?
Current versions of major browsers on phones, tablets and computers are the main target. JavaScript must be enabled for interactive tools. If something fails, report the device, browser and affected page through the Contact page.
