Who this policy covers

Tool Orchard is the data controller for personal data handled through toolorchard.com. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@toolorchard.com.

No accounts or user profiles

Tool Orchard does not offer user registration, member accounts or saved personal dashboards. Most calculators and converters process entries inside the browser and do not send those entries to Tool Orchard.

Server-assisted word tools

The Word Unscrambler, Wordle Solver and Scrabble Rack Solver send the letters or clues you enter to the Tool Orchard server to retrieve matches. These entries are used to answer the request and are not used to build a user profile. Avoid entering names, messages or other personal information into word-game fields.

Technical information and security logs

Like most websites, the hosting service may record technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested URL, response status and time of access. This information is used for security, fault diagnosis, capacity management and preventing abuse. It is retained only as long as reasonably required for those purposes and according to the hosting configuration.

Contact messages

If you email Tool Orchard, the message, email address and any information you choose to provide are used to respond and keep appropriate correspondence records. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

How long information is kept

Contact correspondence is kept only while it remains reasonably useful for answering the enquiry, maintaining necessary business records, resolving disputes or meeting legal obligations. Technical and security logs are controlled by the hosting configuration and retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, diagnosis and abuse prevention. Tool inputs are not used to create a personal calculation history.

Advertising and Google

Tool Orchard includes Google AdSense code for site verification and potential advertising. Loading that code can disclose ordinary connection information such as an IP address, browser details and the requested page to Google. Where adverts are enabled, Google and its partners may also process cookies, device identifiers and advert interactions. Legal bases

Tool Orchard relies on legitimate interests to operate, secure and improve the site and to answer enquiries. Consent is used for non-essential advertising cookies or similar storage where the law requires it. Consent can be withdrawn through the site’s privacy-choice control once advertising is active.

Sharing and international transfers

Information may be processed by service providers that supply hosting, security, email and advertising services. They receive only the access needed to provide those services. Some providers, including Google, may process information outside the UK; their applicable contractual and legal transfer safeguards apply.

Automated decisions

Tool Orchard does not use personal data to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about visitors. Calculator and solver outputs are generated from the values entered and are not personal assessments.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data, object to processing, withdraw consent and receive certain data in a portable form.
